The college offers many concessions and scholarships to the students based on their performance and their financial conditions. Students who perform well in their academics as well as belong to the backward sections of society are compensated with various benefits as part of the Zakir Husain College scholarship scheme. The following scholarships are offered to students:

• The Gopa Dey Memorial Award

This scholarship is offered to the students of BA (H) Bengali who score the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd positions in the final year. A cash reward of Rs 1500, Rs 1000, and Rs 500 is given respectively.

• Mirza Mehmood Begg Memorial Scholarship

Three scholarships amounting to Rs 1400 each are awarded to the undergraduate students who get the highest marks in their respective courses. 

• Sri Narain Nigam Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for the students who have secured the highest marks in their respective courses in the 2nd year examinations. Rs 700 are provided for a visually impaired student.Rs 1100 are provided for the Humanities, Science, and Commerce streams. 

• Ved Kumar Gupta Memorial Scholarship

The students who score the highest marks in the second year of BA (H) Political Science are awarded this scholarship. A cash reward of Rs 1100 is provided to the deserving student.

• All India Entrance Scholarship

The University of Delhi conducts a competitive examination in the month of October each year for this. A sum of Rs 250 is awarded for 3 years on a monthly basis.

• Mrs Harjinder Grover Memorial Scholarship

The students who score the highest marks in B.Sc (Botany) in the 4th and 5th semester are awarded this scholarship. Students are given an amount of Rs 500 each. This scholarship is named after a faculty member who provided her services for a long duration.

• Kumar Shubham Memorial Scholarship

This award is given to the students who secure the highest marks in BA (H) Psychology, Humanities and Social Science and the Science stream. The amounts are Rs 700, Rs 350, and Rs 350 respectively.

Zakir Husain Delhi College admission is based on the CUET exam due to the alteration in the eligibility criteria by the University of Delhi. Steps for registration on the CUET website

• The aspiring students must visit the official website of the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) which is cuet.samarth.ac.in for UG courses and cuet.nta.nic.in for PG courses.
• Click on the “New Registration” button to start the registration process.  
• Students must fill out the registration form with all their personal and academic details.
• Once the registration form is submitted, there will be an application form. 
• Fill it out with all required details for Zakir Husain Delhi College course admissions and click on “Save and Proceed” to save information at every step.
• Upload all documents and photographs along with the scanned signatures.
• Next, pay the CUET application fee.
• The CUET application fee for the general category is Rs 650. The fees for the OBC-NCL and EWS categories is Rs 600. For the SC/ST/PWD/Third gender, Rs 550 is the fees. For foreign students, the fee is Rs 3,000.

Every year after the commencement of the University of Delhi admissions, the university opens a common application portal for the aspiring students. Step 2: Enter your valid email address and create a password to register yourself.
